Frequently Asked
Questions
I have just placed an order, will I receive a tracking number once the order is shipped?
As soon as your order has been shipped you will receive a tracking number via email to track your package.
What is your return policy?
Product returns will be credited in the same form as they were paid if an item is returned within 30 days of purchase. Products must be returned in original unopened packaging. Customers must pay for the shipping to return the product. A refund will not be processed for products that are damaged or are unable to be resold. There is no restocking fee for returned orders.
How do I know which product is right for my space and fall-risk situation?
Choosing the right product depends on where falls are most likely to occur and your individual mobility needs. If balance issues happen when standing from a bed, couch, or bedside toilet, a floor-to-ceiling rail or pole is often ideal ( Independence Rail ). For bathroom safety, a bathroom safety pole ( Independence Pole ) will provide the most secure support. We recommend a quick home safety assessment to help determine the best placement for our system. Please give us a call at 1-800-676-1655, and we will help you choose the product that is right for you or your loved one.
Is your system compatible with renters or multi-unit housing? (limited modifications)?
Yes. Most systems are non-permanent and can be installed without drilling ( Although we recommend drilling our Safe Zones into the joists ), making them ideal for apartments, assisted-living units, or rental homes. Tension/pressure-fit designs leave no marks when removed. While landlord approval isn’t typically required for non-permanent aids, we recommend notifying them. When moving, simply release the tension and take the unit with you.
What maintenance or inspection is required after installation?
Our products require very little maintenance. Every 1–2 months, confirm the pole or rail is firmly secured and hasn’t shifted; check any locking or tension points; and wipe surfaces with a mild cleaner. If you notice looseness, unusual movement, or damage, stop using it until inspected. Contact us 1-800-676-1655. We can usually resolve adjustments or parts needs quickly via phone or video.
What are your payment options?
We accept debit and credit card payments through PayPal. A PayPal account is not required to pay through PayPal. We also accept PayPal Credit.
What if I am interested in one of your Safe Zones?
Please visit our Safe Zone page for information regarding the Safe Zones we install and set up for low-income families.
Is professional installation required, or can I install the product myself?
Most systems (including the Independence Pole and Independence Rail) are designed for simple installation without extensive drilling or permanent modification. Clear instructions are included, and tightening can be done with basic household tools. Installation services are available through our network of qualified third-party professionals. Simply select the Installation Service option and choose a convenient date for us to schedule your installation.
If a fall still happens despite using your product, does it still provide protective benefit?
No product can eliminate all risk, but a securely installed pole or rail helps you control your descent, reduce impact, and regain footing or get up safely. These supports provide a stable, reachable handhold—especially helpful when vision is reduced or balance is compromised. We have seen falls reduced almost entirely with a properly placed rail system at bedside. For higher-risk individuals, pair physical supports with a “Safe Zone” layout, non-slip flooring, adequate lighting, and clear pathways.
What warranty or product guarantee do you offer beyond the return policy?
All products include a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect occurs within that period, we’ll repair or replace the item at no charge. Normal wear from daily use isn’t covered, but we can provide replacement parts and long-term maintenance guidance. If something isn’t performing as expected, reach out, and we’ll make it right.
